ServiceNow SOMT Solution Architect – Telecom

Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the architectural design and strategic implementation of ServiceNow solutions within the telecommunications sector. This pivotal role focuses on bridging complex business requirements with advanced technical capabilities, specifically targeting the ServiceNow Service Operations Management and Telecom (SOMT) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of telecom services, ensuring seamless integration across critical systems such as CRM, CPQ, Billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, and Inventory platforms. By leveraging deep expertise in telecom product and resource lifecycles, this architect will define robust data models and integration patterns that support quote-to-order and order-to-fulfillment processes, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the architecture of enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions tailored for telecom service management, balancing out-of-the-box capabilities with necessary custom development.
  
• Develop comprehensive data models and integration patterns to facilitate smooth connectivity between ServiceNow and external systems including CRM, CPQ, Billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, and Inventory management tools.
  
• Manage the full lifecycle of telecom products and resources, ensuring alignment with industry standards for fiber, quote-to-order, and order-to-fulfillment workflows.
  
• Lead consulting engagements and presales activities, effectively communicating technical strategies and solution benefits to key stakeholders.
  
• Architect scalable enterprise integrations that support complex telecom service delivery and resource management scenarios.
  
• Evaluate and recommend optimal approaches for implementing ServiceNow SOMT features to meet specific business objectives and operational demands.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in IT services, with a strong focus on telecommunications.
  
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow SOMT and Telecom Service Management platforms.
  
• Deep knowledge of CRM, CPQ, Billing, OSS/BSS, ERP, and Inventory integration frameworks.
  
• Strong background in managing the Telecom Product Service and Resource Lifecycle.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating Architecture Designs, Data Models, and Integration Patterns.
  
• Exceptional skills in Stakeholder Management, Consulting, and Presales.
  
• Ability to critically assess ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities versus Custom Development needs.
  
• Experience with Telecom/Fiber Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Fulfillment processes.
