About ART

ART Ambulance Services L.L.C. is a DCAS-licensed ambulance operator in Dubai and part of the Belgian Ambuce Rescue Team group, which has been operating in Europe since 1975. We provide non-emergency patient transport, event medical standby, corporate and industrial site medical cover, and international medical escorts and repatriations.

The role

We are looking for a DHA-licensed General Practitioner to join our medical team in Dubai. You will see patients at home and in the field, support our crews and help with day-to-day medical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out home visits and patient assessments, including history, examination, medication review and treatment.
  
• Manage common acute and chronic conditions, prescribe and refer where needed.
  
• Perform pre-transfer patient assessments when required.
  
• Provide physician cover at events and corporate or industrial sites.
  
• Give clinical advice to our ambulance crews and dispatch team.
  
• Keep accurate and timely patient records in line with DHA requirements.
  
• Follow ART's clinical protocols and support crew training when needed.
  

Important notes

• Medical Director designation: ART may designate the successful candidate as Medical Director of one of its licensed facilities, subject to regulatory approval. Candidates must be willing to accept this designation and sign the related DHA undertaking, and must not currently hold a Medical Director appointment at a facility outside the ART group.
  
• Conditions of offer: Any offer is conditional on DHA licence activation under ART, primary source verification and satisfactory references.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent, with a completed internship.
  
• DHA General Practitioner licence, or a valid DHA eligibility letter.
  
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience after internship.
  
• Valid BLS certification.
  
• Good spoken and written English.
  
• Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
  

Nice to have

• ACLS certification.
  
• Experience in emergency medicine, family medicine or home care.
  
• UAE driving licence.
  
• Arabic or other languages.
