Bilingual Japanese Global Mobility Manager

An international financial services firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Global Mobility Manager to oversee international assignments and global mobility operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage international assignments, including immigration, relocation, payroll, benefits, and tax compliance.
  

• Coordinate with HR teams in the U.S. and Japan, senior management, employees, and external service providers.
  

• Review and improve global mobility policies, procedures, and processes.
  

• Oversee and develop the U.S. Global Mobility team.
  

• Partner with Legal and other departments on immigration policies and compliance.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
  

• 7–10 years of experience in HR and/or Global Mobility.
  

• Advanced Japanese and English communication skills.
  

• Experience with HRIS, payroll, accounting, and tax-related matters.
  

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  

• Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively across cultures and time zones.
