Marketing Officer

About the Role

JD Group is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Marketing Officer to lead sales and marketing activities for food products, including dal, rice (chawal), ghee, and other food-related items in the wholesale market. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wholesale distribution, market expansion, client relationship management, and sales strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase wholesale sales and achieve revenue targets.

• Identify and establish relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and other potential business partners.

• Expand market reach by identifying new business opportunities and developing new customer networks.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, pricing trends, and market opportunities.

• Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and business agreements with wholesale customers.

• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and smooth order processing.

• Lead and support sales and marketing activities to achieve business growth objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the FMCG or food products industry.

• Proven experience in wholesale sales, distribution, and market development.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

• Ability to identify new markets, generate leads, and achieve sales targets.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

• Willingness to travel for market visits and client meetings as required.
