Quality Assurance Team Lead

Start Date: 28th September 2026 - 6 Month Contract

Rate: Competitive Inside IR35

Location: Remote

Role Purpose:

Working within the Regulatory Assurance function, lead a small team of 2nd Line Customer Outcomes testers, providing independent assurance over end to end customer outcomes across the Motor Finance Commissions programme through SSS and targeted risk-based testing. Supporting to embed the newly rolled-out 2nd Line QA framework and scorecard.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee delivery of the 2nd Line QA testing plan, ensuring appropriate coverage of SSS and risk-based areas.
Manage and coach the testing team, ensuring consistent application of the testing methodology and quality of judgements
Review and assure testing outcomes, particularly complex, high-risk or contentious cases
Identify and flag trends, systemic issues, customer detriment or emerging risks
Identify and recommend to the Regulatory Assurance Lead where expanded testing or deep dives should take place

Experience / Skills;

Strong Financial Service QA, compliance monitoring, outcomes testing or assurance experience.
Previous experience leading QA/assurance teams and overseeing case-based testing.
Strong judgement with the ability to identify systemic risk and potential customer detriment.
Confident senior stakeholder management, challenge and escalation skills.
