Position Name: Portfolio Success Manager – Venture Partner and Sprint Excellence

Reports To: Head of Portfolio Success

Location: Delhi NCR (preferred); open to other locations

Role Overview:

This role makes sure companies in our accelerator program get real, lasting value from the support they receive. Each company is paired with a Venture Partner (VP), a dedicated advisor who works with them for 12–15 months, guiding them through their growth journey. This role owns that relationship: making sure VP calls happen on schedule, cover the right ground, and, most importantly, actually lead to change inside the company.

It also plays an active part in Sprint, a focused 90-day period of hands-on support that companies go through early in the program, not just tracking whether it's on schedule, but assessing whether it's genuinely delivering value, and stepping in when it isn't.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Venture Partner Relationship

•     Make sure every company has an active, engaged VP throughout their 12–15 month journey with us.

•     Track that a new company's first two calls with their VP happen on time and result in a clear plan for what the company needs to work on.

•     Review that plan for quality, and confirm the company is on board with it.

Track Calls & Follow-Through

•     Make sure VPs check in with companies at the mid-point and end of each work cycle, and that these calls are properly documented.

•     Ensure regular check-in calls are happening in between.

•     Check whether companies are actually acting on what the VP recommends, this is the real measure of whether the relationship is working.

Manage Feedback

•     Regularly ask companies how their VP relationship is going.

•     If something isn't working, raise it with the VP directly and help course correct.

•     Be the first point of contact if a company or VP needs something to change.

Drive Sprint Excellence

•     Keep an eye on whether a company's first support sprint is on track and finishing on time.

•     Go beyond paperwork: assess whether the sprint is genuinely helping the company make progress, not just hitting scheduled milestones.

•     Flag quality issues or a sprint that's off-track to the assigned expert or the Head of Portfolio Success, and help course correct.

•     Make sure basic sprint paperwork, like the kickoff document, is completed.

•     Feed sprint details, like hiring numbers or funding raised, into shared reports.

Keep Records & Reporting

•     Maintain simple, accurate dashboards tracking VP calls and sprint status for every company.

•     Flag any issues or bottlenecks to the Head of Portfolio Success.

Key Outcomes:

•     Onboarding calls with new companies completed, with a plan the company agrees to.

•     Mid-point and closing calls completed and documented, every cycle.

•     Regular check-in calls happening and tracked.

•     Companies acting on what their VP recommends.

•     Feedback collected and relationship issues resolved.

•     Sprint paperwork and timelines on track.

•     Sprint quality and value assessed, with issues flagged and addressed.

•     Company data, hiring, funding, next steps, accurate and up to date.

Qualifications & Experience:

•     5–8 years in program management, client success, or relationship management; startup, impact, or development sector experience preferred.

•     Comfortable managing long, ongoing relationships (12+ months), not just short projects.

•     Experience working with external advisors, consultants, or mentors.

•     Good at judging whether a conversation or piece of delivery work is actually landing, and coaching people to improve it.

•     Comfortable with dashboards and tracking tools.

•     Strong communicator, equally comfortable with founders and senior advisors.

•     Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a role that will evolve as the team grows.
