Engineering Manager

Job Summary: To establish engineering capability to support and complement the main contracting business and manage the day to day organisation of the engineering Department, co-ordinating activities of direct resources, Subcontractors, Suppliers in an appropriate way with, Safety, Health and Environmental Quality objectives as the priority. Operational Responsibilities: • Assist the estimation team during tendering stage and manage the review of awarded project designs, preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, and coordinated service drawings for clash analysis. • Identify project scope, quantify work, track long-lead items, and secure required NOCs through RTA and DEWA portals. • Ensure constructability, timely submission of drawings & submittals, compliance with project standards while supervising draughtsmen and coordinating with authorities, clients, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors. • Address technical and design issues affecting cost or schedule, participate in progress meetings, prepare as-built drawings in accordance with authority requirements, support project handover, and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Quality Assurance Responsibilities • Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures. • Follow project wise specification and terms.

Essential Qualifications: * Civil Engineering Degree, * Professional Qualification or Membership, * Valid UAE Driving License. Experience / Achievements: * Minimum 10 years’ experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects, * Previous experience with RTA & other Dubai Authorities is desirable.
