JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE within 3-5 yrs post residency
  
• Licenses: Active California License
  
• DEA
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  
• Experience: Minimum of a few years of experience in interventional cardiology; new graduates not considered.
  
• At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
  
• Active Fluoro certification, NUC reading ability
  
• Current number of case logs
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology coverage on a call-only basis, including 24-hour beeper call.
  
• Manage inpatient interventional cardiology cases and respond to emergency consults.
  
• Perform nuclear cardiology reading and NUC activity as needed.
  
• Deliver both interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology care.
  
• Maintain active fluoro certification and respond to calls within 20 minutes.
