Senior Mobile Crane Operator / Driver (XCMG XCT85_M / 85-Ton Telescopic Crane) – Guyana

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator / Driver with recent, hands-on experience operating the XCMG XCT85_M 85-ton telescopic boom truck crane. The position involves crane operation, equipment mobilization, routine inspections, basic operator maintenance, and lifting activities at industrial, marine, and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and set up the XCMG XCT85_M for approved lifting operations.
  
• Review load charts, lifting radius, boom configuration, ground conditions, and equipment limits before each lift.
  
• Perform controlled lifts while coordinating with riggers and signal personnel.
  
• Drive and mobilize the crane between authorized work locations.
  
• Conduct pre-use, post-use, and routine equipment inspections.
  
• Monitor wire ropes, hydraulics, outriggers, brakes, tyres, fluids, hooks, and other critical components.
  
• Identify equipment faults or unsafe conditions and report them promptly.
  
• Carry out approved operator-level maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and fluid checks.
  
• Complete operating logs, inspection records, lift documentation, defect reports, and customer job tickets.
  
• Follow all lift plans, safety procedures, permits, and equipment safety systems.
  

Requirements

Recent, verifiable hands-on experience operating the XCMG XCT85_M is required.
Minimum 5 years of mobile telescopic crane operating experience.
At least 2 years operating cranes within the 60–100-ton range.
Current mobile crane operator certification or recognized equivalent.
Valid heavy-vehicle driving licence appropriate for mobile crane operation.
Knowledge of load charts, rigging fundamentals, crane safety systems, hand signals, and outrigger configurations.
Basic understanding of hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand English-language manuals, lift plans, permits, and safety documentation
