Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.

Must be an Australian Citizen and hold TSPV clearance

Key duties and responsibilities

Provide engineering services to all aspects of the system development lifecycle. • Installs or removes hardware and/or software. Conducts tests and corrects malfunctions. • Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents moderately complex programs and scripts. • Defines the integration build and produces a build definition for generation of the software. • Resolve issues and/or problems that arise during the course of capability development. • Engage with relevant stakeholders when required. • Lead infrastructure and platform design, implementation and support.

Technical skills

Experience with installation, configuration, maintenance and de-installation of systems. Demonstrated experience in Linux administration and system hardening. Demonstrated experience in configuration management and automation.
