Front Desk/Guest Service Representative

We are currently looking for a Guest Service Representative that will manage guest experiences by handling check-ins/check-outs, processing payments, and addressing inquiries with a professional, friendly demeanor. They act as the primary point of contact, ensuring guest satisfaction while coordinating with housekeeping and maintaining lobby cleanliness. Key responsibilities include managing reservations, assigning rooms, and resolving complaints.

Requirements

• Guest Services: Welcome guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services, rates, and local attractions.
  
• Administrative & Financial: Answer phone calls, manage online/telephone reservations, process credit card payments, and maintain accurate room records.
  
• Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high level of customer service.
  
• Operational Support: Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability, maintain lobby cleanliness, and potentially handle concierge services. 
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hotel property management software, preferably Choice Advantage experience and basic computer skills.
  
• Shift Work: Flexible - part time/full time both available.
  
• Attributes: Calm under pressure, strong problem-solving, and professional appearance.
  
• Experience: High school diploma required; at least 1-2 years of previous hospitality experience at the front desk is preferred.
