Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and service-driven Duty Manager to join a charming 4-star Victorian boutique hotel in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  

• Supervise front office and guest-facing teams, ensuring high service standards.
  

• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.
  

• Monitor check-in and check-out procedures and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  

• Support staff management, including shift planning and team coordination.
  

• Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to maintain operational standards.
  

• Assist with administrative duties, reporting and operational procedures.
  

• Ensure the hotel maintains its reputation for quality service and attention to detail.
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within a hotel environment.
  

• Experience in a 4-star or boutique hotel will be advantageous.
  

• Excellent communication, leadership and guest relations skills.
  

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  

• A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  

• A professional manner and a passion for hospitality.
  

Salary: R18,000 per month.
