Role Overview:

Orbit ISS are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Civil QC Inspector to perform inspections and quality control of civil works across construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS/EN), and HSE requirements. The Civil QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting activities such as concrete, rebar, formwork, backfilling, and structural steel, reviewing quality documentation, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating with project teams to ensure high standards are maintained throughout execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect civil works (concrete, rebar, formwork, backfilling, asphalt, structural steel) for compliance with project specifications.
  
• Monitor construction activities against approved drawings, ITPs, and standards (ASTM, ACI, BS/EN).
  
• Review material certificates, test reports, and quality documentation.
  
• Conduct inspections for excavation, foundations, slabs, and structural elements.
  
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and RFI logs.
  
• Coordinate with site teams and third parties to resolve quality issues.
  
• Report non-conformities and track corrective actions.
  
• Ensure HSE compliance during inspections.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil quality inspection.
  
• Familiar with international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
  
• Approval from any authority will be added as an advantage.
  
• Experience with oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
  
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
