  • Partner with corporate leadership to align center operations with organizational goals and initiatives.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, supervise, coach, and retain a high-performing team of teachers and support staff.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules that meet required child-to-staff ratios and support operational needs.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations, performance evaluations, and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Design and coordinate meaningful professional development opportunities aligned with Novastar's educational philosophy.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture and effectively address staff concerns and conflicts.

Compliance & Quality:

  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local childcare licensing regulations.
  • Lead Colorado Shines quality rating efforts and drive continuous improvement across the program.
  • Oversee health, safety, and sanitation practices throughout the center.
  • Guide curriculum implementation and ensure developmentally appropriate practices in every classroom.
  • Manage licensing inspections and maintain all required documentation in audit-ready condition.

Family & Community Relations:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families and serve as the primary point of contact for escalated parent concerns.
  • Resolve parent inquiries and conflicts professionally, promptly, and with empathy.
  • Plan and lead family engagement events, open houses, and community-building activities.
  • Represent Novastar Kids Co in the broader community and cultivate partnerships that support our mission.
  • Provide classroom coverage as needed to maintain ratios and support staff.

Requirements:
