Human Resources Manager

We are a rapidly growing New London County manufacturer in need of an experienced Human Resources Manager to help serve our busy employee population. 

Working as a department of one (with some administrative support) and serving more than 160 employees, our next new Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Development of HR Strategy, including working closing with the leadership and management teams to ensure the organization has the right structure, staffing, and policies to ensure and support our ongoing growth
  
• Management of day to day HR operations, including recruiting, staffing, employee relations, employee onboarding, benefits and payroll administration, training and development, and HR compliance. 
  
• Maintaining a strong employee culture and positive work environment
  
• Serving as a member of the management team
  
• Managing HR-related resources, vendors, and outsourcing support
  

The following education and experience is needed to be successful in this role:

• Five or more years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment, with some experience leading the function
  
• Extensive knowledge of HR-related laws and compliance issues
  
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration
  
• Solid computer skills including the MS office suite, payroll systems, and ERP systems
  
• PHR, SHRM, or similar certification a plus
