Description

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a compassionate, adaptable veterinarian (DVM) to join our team of 4 full-time and 2 part-time veterinarians. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety, values mission-driven work, and thrives in a collaborative, high-impact environment.

Our veterinarians rotate through multiple service areas, including wellness, high-quality high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN), dentistry, urgent care, soft tissue surgery, and mobile outreach. This model allows for professional growth, skill diversification, and meaningful community impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care across service areas, including:
  • Wellness and preventive care

  • Rotate between departments based on organizational needs and individual skillset

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented culture
  • Uphold PRCKC’s mission of accessible, judgment-free care

What Makes This Role Unique:

  • Variety in Practice: Work across multiple service lines rather than a single-track role
  • Mission-Driven Impact: Serve underserved communities and reduce barriers to care
  • Collaborative Culture: Team-based care with strong technician and support staff
  • Growth Opportunities: Develop skills in surgery, dentals, and community medicine
  • Flexible Scheduling: Choose a schedule that works for your lifestyle
  • No On-Call Shifts: The schedule you choose will be static, and we'll never ask you to be on-call
  • Flexible Days: Do something different each day, and leave when you're done
  • Limited Face to Face Contact: You'll have a team of frontline staff at your disposal to speak to owners on your behalf for any conversation that does not require a doctor
