Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient specialty practice in Southern Connecticut.
This role requires at least three years of provider experience and is ideal for a Physician Assistant with experience in endocrinology, diabetes management, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, or a related specialty.
The incoming provider will work closely with endocrinologists, APPs, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive outpatient endocrine care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage endocrinology patients
- Provide care for diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, and related conditions
- Conduct follow-up visits and patient assessments
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
- Develop and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Educate patients on medications, lifestyle changes, and disease management
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Support continuity of care within the endocrinology program
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Active or eligible Connecticut PA license
- Minimum of three years of provider experience required
- Endocrinology or diabetes management experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills
