Senior Intune and Entra ID Engineer

About the role

The Client is seeking an experienced End User Computing Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Android mobile-device management and endpoint security.

The successful candidate will help design, configure and support a secure, modern endpoint-management platform. This role requires substantial experience administering enterprise Intune and Entra ID environments and resolving complex identity, device-management and endpoint-security issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and manage a fleet of Android mobile devices through Microsoft Intune.
  

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, identity protection, authentication methods, group management, device identity, RBAC and application integrations.
  

• Manage Intune device enrolment, application deployment, compliance policies, configuration profiles and endpoint-security controls.
  

• Configure and maintain mobile application protection policies and security baselines.
  

• Support Azure services underpinning Intune, Entra ID and secure endpoint connectivity.
  

• Manage proxy services and managed endpoint internet-access solutions.
  

• Troubleshoot complex issues involving Intune, Entra ID, endpoint security and Android devices.
  

• Support Windows and Linux operating environments where required.
  

• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, operational procedures and support materials.
  

• Work collaboratively with Client personnel, multidisciplinary technical teams and business stakeholders.
  

• Operate in accordance with Client security, governance and change-management requirements.
  

Essential experience

• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar EUC, endpoint-management or modern-workplace engineering role.
  

• Extensive hands-on Microsoft Intune administration experience.
  

• Strong experience managing Android devices through enterprise MDM.
  

• Demonstrated experience with:

  • Role-based access control
    

  • Enterprise application integration
    

• Experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
  

• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications.
  

• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
