Manager – Valuation & Deals Advisory (Global Consulting Company)

We are currently representing a leading global professional services firm seeking an experienced Manager – Valuation & Deals Advisory to join its Deals practice in Jakarta.

The role will advise leading corporations, investors, and other stakeholders on business valuation, financial modelling, transaction-related valuation, and strategic value advisory, supporting clients across M&A, investments, financial reporting, and other complex corporate situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business, equity, and asset valuation engagements across a range of industries and transaction situations
• Develop and review sophisticated financial models, forecasts, and valuation analyses using methodologies such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions
• Support clients on M&A and transaction-related valuations, including deal assessment, negotiation support, and strategic decision-making
• Evaluate business plans, financial projections, market assumptions, value drivers, and key financial risks
• Perform financial and commercial analysis to develop robust and defensible valuation conclusions
• Support financial reporting-related valuation assignments, including Purchase Price Allocation, impairment testing, and other fair-value assessments
• Contribute to broader Value Advisory engagements, including feasibility studies, value creation, capital structure, and strategic financial analysis
• Translate complex financial analysis into clear insights and recommendations for senior client stakeholders
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective project execution
• Lead client discussions and presentations and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Coach and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and reviewing analytical work
• Support proposal development, business development, and the continued growth of the Valuation & Deals practice

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience within Valuation, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or in-house M&A / Corporate Development
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline from a reputable university
• Strong experience in business valuation and financial modelling
• Solid understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, transaction analysis, and valuation methodologies
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to evaluate complex businesses, financial projections, and investment assumptions
• Experience managing projects, deliverables, and junior team members
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand the strategic context behind financial analysis
• Confident communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
• Able to manage multiple assignments and perform effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
