The Staff Pad has partnered with a well-known healthcare organization in Manchester, TN, and we are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Urology clinic.
The LPN will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting essential clinical and administrative functions under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, or other qualified healthcare professional.
As an integral member of the healthcare team, the LPN will collaborate with providers and nursing staff to support safe, efficient care and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed
- Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the EHR/computer system
- Advocate for patients and support their needs and concerns
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Communicate and coordinate with insurance companies
- Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and multiple providers
- Assist Medical Assistants (MAs) with clinical and administrative tasks
- Complete medication prior authorizations (PAs) and follow up as needed
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect when interacting with patients and team members
- Adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage competing demands
What We Are Looking For
- Active LPN license in the State of Tennessee
- 1+ year of related experience
- Current CPR certification required and must be maintained
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; prior phlebotomy experience required
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
