Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Surveyor in Dubai. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong surveying and site-measurement capabilities. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate site surveys, measurements, leveling, and setting-out activities.
  
• Operate surveying instruments such as total stations, levels, GPS/GNSS equipment, and related tools.
  
• Establish survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference levels for site execution.
  
• Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, plans, and specifications before carrying out field measurements.
  
• Verify dimensions, elevations, alignments, boundaries, and construction positions against approved drawings.
  
• Record field observations accurately and maintain survey reports, sketches, measurement sheets, and related documentation.
  
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and construction teams regarding survey findings and discrepancies.
  
• Ensure surveying activities are completed accurately and in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  

Required Skills

1. Land/Site Surveying: Ability to perform accurate field measurements and site surveys.
   
2. Survey Instruments: Hands-on knowledge of total station, auto/digital level, GPS/GNSS, or equivalent equipment.
   
3. Setting Out & Leveling: Ability to establish coordinates, elevations, reference lines, and benchmarks.
   
4. Drawing Interpretation: Ability to understand engineering and construction drawings accurately.
   
5. Survey Documentation: Ability to maintain clear field notes, measurement records, and survey reports.
   

Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD or related survey/CAD software knowledge.
  
• Experience working on construction or infrastructure sites.
  
• Familiarity with coordinate systems, benchmarks, and survey data processing.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Experience was not specified by the recruiter. A typical range for Surveyor roles is approximately 2–5 years, depending on project complexity and employer requirements. Relevant hands-on experience with field surveying, construction/site measurements, and surveying instruments is generally preferred.

Education

Minimum: Typical — Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline
Preferred: Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering/Surveying/Geomatics
Additional: Relevant survey equipment or CAD training/certification is advantageous
