  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain clear audit trails for regulatory and accounting balances.
  • Provide reliable accounting bases for the calculation of Regulatory Capital and risk-weighted assets together with the Risk team.
  • Support the preparation of audited financial statements, explanatory notes, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Support internal and external audits and BCB inspections by preparing working papers, reconciliations, ECL calculation records, and supporting documentation, and by tracking issue follow-up and remediation.
  • Coordinate information across departments for regulatory requests, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and traceability.
  • Monitor BCB accounting and regulatory updates affecting Payment Institutions, including IFRS convergence, and translate new requirements into processes, controls, and reporting routines.
  • Maintain procedures, control documentation, and evidence repositories, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
