Your primary mission involves cultivating strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors while driving significant revenue growth for their comprehensive pharmacovigilance offerings. This position is essential for ensuring their clients across the US, UK, and Europe maintain strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards through our end-to-end safety data management, signal detection, and risk management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and strengthen connections with critical stakeholders, such as Directors of Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, and Procurement.
  • Lead meetings, deliver presentations, and conduct demonstrations to highlight our service capabilities and unique value proposition.
  • Partner with internal departments, including operations, compliance, and subject matter experts, to craft proposals, respond to RFPs, and design tailored client solutions.
  • Serve as the company representative at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional networking events.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of potential leads and opportunities using CRM platforms while providing consistent progress reports to leadership.
  • Meet and exceed both quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Create and roll out a focused business development strategy tailored to the US pharmacovigilance market.
  • Utilize industry insights and professional networks to uncover high-potential opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device firms.
  • Forge executive-level relationships with senior leaders in Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and Procurement.
  • Articulate and promote our complete range of pharmacovigilance services alongside our proprietary technology platforms, including AI and automation tools.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to spot emerging service opportunities.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Bring over a decade of experience in business development or client acquisition within the CRO, pharmacovigilance, or life sciences outsourcing sectors.
  • Demonstrate a robust professional network and a deep understanding of the US pharmacovigilance ecosystem.
  • Show a history of successfully securing new business and finalizing agreements with mid-to-large-sized pharmaceutical or biotech organizations.
  • Exhibit superior communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Possess the capability to work autonomously, manage time efficiently, and excel in remote-first or hybrid work settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry regulations including FDA, EMA, MHRA, and ICH guidelines.
  • Prior experience in marketing outsourced drug safety or regulatory services.
