Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to develop, design, and implement electrical systems and solutions. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical designs, drawings, calculations, documentation, and coordinating with project, production, and site teams to ensure projects meet technical and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design electrical systems, circuits, panels, and equipment as per project requirements.- Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and equipment selection.- Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical specifications.- Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.- Coordinate with production, procurement, project, and installation teams.- Troubleshoot design-related technical issues and provide effective solutions.- Conduct design reviews and modify drawings based on project requirements.- Ensure designs comply with electrical safety standards and relevant codes.- Support testing, commissioning, and site teams when required.- Maintain proper technical documentation and project records.- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors when required.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and systems.- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or other electrical design software.- Knowledge of electrical panels, switchgear, control systems, cables, and protection devices.- Good understanding of electrical calculations and engineering standards.- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Educational Qualification

- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Experience in electrical panel design, industrial electrical systems, automation, manufacturing, EPC projects, or building services will be an advantage.
