SALES COORDINATOR

Hotel, Cape Town

Are you organised, customer-focused and passionate about sales and hospitality?

My client is looking for a Sales Coordinator to provide vital support to the Sales & Marketing team, manage customer enquiries and help maximise hotel revenue.

THE ROLE

Handle customer enquiries and requests professionally
Assist with hotel reservations for FITs, groups and conferences
Prepare rate proposals and follow up on business opportunities
Handle non-residential conference enquiries
Maintain accurate customer databases and records
Support the Sales team with administration and reporting
Assist with MIS and departmental reports
Manage sales collateral and promotional materials
Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
Contribute to an efficient, professional Sales Department

Requirements

Diploma/Degree from a reputable hotel school

At least 1 year’s experience in a similar position

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong administrative and organisational abilities

Fluent English; additional languages advantageous

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Working knowledge of OPERA

A professional, proactive and positive approach
