DZ Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused DZ Delivery Driver to join our food distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food products to customers in a timely and professional manner while ensuring product quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a valid Ontario DZ driver's licence, a clean driving record, and experience with multi-stop deliveries in the food or beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a DZ truck to deliver food products to customers on scheduled routes.
  
• Load, unload, and transport products while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
  
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  
• Verify orders, collect signatures, and ensure accurate deliveries.
  
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and optimize routes for timely service.
  
• Handle invoices, delivery paperwork, and electronic logs accurately.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and ensure compliance with company standards.
  
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
  
• Follow all Ministry of Transportation (MTO), company, and food safety regulations.
  
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading, and order preparation when required.
  

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence.
  
• Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR (if required).
  
• Minimum 2 years of DZ driving experience, preferably in food or beverage distribution.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
  
• Knowledge of GTA and surrounding areas is an asset.
  
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and MTO regulations.
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, overtime, and weekends when required.
