About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software QA Engineer (Automation) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with strong expertise in Playwright using JavaScript. The candidate should be passionate about quality, have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and be capable of building and maintaining robust automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Conduct API testing and validation for RESTful services.
• Perform database testing, data validation, and backend verification using SQL.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize Docker-based environments for test execution and validation.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale applications and complex environments.
