Require an ASSISTANT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT in Shurugwi, Zimbabwe

• Preparation of Trial balance & year-end financial pack.
• Preparation of operational cashflows.
• Management of debtors and creditors.
• Maintenance of Cash book records and bank reconciliations.
• Accurate maintenance of Intercompany ledger records.
• General Ledger Reconciliation.
• Attends to Internal and external financial Audits.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory provisions (VAT, PAYE, WTAX, EMA).
• Maintenance of the Asset Register.
• Development and coaching of subordinates.

Requirements

• A first Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution plus at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
• A professional accounting qualification like CIMA and ACCA is a distinct advantage.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards (IAS) is a must.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an ERP system, preferably SAP (Financial Accounting Module), will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of payroll management.
• Working knowledge of safety management system(s) applicable to mining operations/companies, preferably the NOSA and/or ISO Systems.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written.
• Clean Class 4 Driver's Licence.
