Our client is a Federal Government department who are seeking experienced Senior Cloud Architects / Cloud Engineers to join their team in a remote working arrangement, with Canberra/ACT preferred.

Role summary:
The Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer will support the delivery of ICT projects by designing, implementing and managing enterprise-level cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-level cloud platform and solution architectures using Microsoft Azure and M365.
  
• Provide technical guidance across the design, development and implementation of secure cloud-based systems, including Azure DevOps, automation, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
  
• Collaborate with business owners, developers, enterprise architects, testers and other stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements and whole-of-government standards.
  

Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing and managing cloud systems and technologies, with strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus and API Management.
  
• Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure networking, Private Endpoints and RBAC.
  
• Strong communication, collaboration and Agile delivery skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical team members.
  

On offer is a 12-month contract with 24 month extension options at a highly sought-after Federal Government department, with a highly competitive daily rate.
