JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine (alternative boards not accepted)
  
• Licenses: Active Texas Medical License required
  
• Certifications: ATLS, PALS required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in relevant specialty; 300 pediatric patient encounters within the last 12 months for EM/Peds providers
  
• Other Qualifications: Case logs from the previous 2 years
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Center.
  
• Manage and treat a wide range of emergency conditions, including high acuity pediatric cases.
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
  
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
  
• Participate in phone screenings and interviews with the Medical Director as part of the onboarding process.
