The Opportunity

We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Female Early Years Physical Education Teacher to join our team from November 2026.

The successful candidate will inspire a love of Kindergarten/Early Years PE, deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support every learner, and contribute positively to the wider life of our vibrant school community.

We are particularly interested in educators with experience teaching within the American curriculum, who understand its distinct approach to teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the American curriculum and school expectations.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Plan, assess, and monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching and raise achievement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, including English language learners and students requiring additional support or challenge.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and collaborative professional practice.
• Participate fully in the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, school events, and ongoing professional development.
• Promote student well-being, safeguarding, and positive behavior in line with school policies.
• Uphold the values and high standards of GEMS Education at all times.
