The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, inventory management, and strategic planning to ensure optimal stock levels, cost savings, and efficient supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, and performance.

• Oversee purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company policies and budgets.

• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.

• Analyze market trends and supply risks to support purchasing decisions.

• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, contracts, and deliveries.

• Work closely with Finance on invoice validation, supplier payments, and billing concerns.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.

• Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experiencein procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with leadership experience.

• Strong background in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.

• Good knowledge of inventory management and procurement best practices.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

• Experience in theretail, trading, or distribution industryis an advantage.
