Mobile Auto Glass Installer

Omni Auto Glass is a locally owned auto glass company serving San Antonio and the surrounding area. We’re looking for a Mobile Auto Glass Installer to replace windshields and auto glass at customers’ homes and workplaces and fleet accounts.

You’ll work independently in the field, so we need someone reliable, careful, and good with customers. Experienced installers are encouraged to apply. [We also train motivated candidates with hands-on mechanical experience.]

What you’ll do:

• Remove and install windshields, door glass, back glass, and quarter glass on cars, trucks, and SUVs
  
• Perform rock chip and windshield repairs
  
• Follow proper urethane, primer, and safe drive-away procedures for every job
  
• Handle moldings, clips, sensors, rain/light sensors, and camera brackets without damage
  
• Inspect vehicles before and after work, and document jobs with photos
  
• Explain the work to customers, answer questions, and collect payment or signatures as needed
  
• Keep the mobile unit, tools, and inventory clean, stocked, and organized
  
• Coordinate with our scheduling team on your daily route and job updates
  
• [Support ADAS camera calibration as part of jobs that require it]
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional auto glass installation experience, with the ability to work independently from day one
  
• Proven skill installing windshields, door glass, back glass, and quarter glass on a wide range of vehicles
  
• Solid knowledge of urethane, primer, and safe drive-away procedures
  
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to pass a background check [and drug screen]
  
• Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in Texas heat
  
• Comfortable managing a daily schedule of mobile jobs without direct supervision
  
• Professional, courteous communication with customers
  
• Basic smartphone skills for job photos, updates, and job management apps
  
• Preferred: AGSC certification, ADAS calibration experience, bilingual English/Spanish
