Sales Intern

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Intern will support the sales and estimating teams with customer enquiries, preparation of quotations, cost calculations, pricing analysis, and sales administration. The successful candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations to support the company's sales and business development objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

•   Matric(Grade 12)
  
•  N4-N6 Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  
•  National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management, Cost and Management Accounting,Engineering.
  
  

Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

§  Previous exposure to sales, customer service, administration, procurement, or estimating will be an advantage.

§  Academic projects or practical training involving costing, budgeting, or quotations will be beneficial.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

§  Basic understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.

§  Basic knowledge of cost estimation, pricing, and quotation preparation.

§  Understanding direct costs, indirect costs, labor, materials, and overheads.

§  Ability to work with spreadsheets and perform basic calculations.

§  Knowledge of stock, procurement, and supplier pricing processes will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with technical products, drawings, or specifications will be beneficial in an engineering or industrial environment.
