Pipe Fitter

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes using hand and power tools.
  
• Install piping systems, supports, valves, fittings, and associated equipment.
  
• Align and secure pipes according to project requirements and industry standards.
  
• Conduct hydrostatic and pressure tests on piping systems as required.
  
• Identify and rectify installation defects and leaks.
  
• Assist with pipe fabrication and installation activities on-site.
  
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and project procedures.
  
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  
• Follow company quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School Certificate, Technical Diploma, or equivalent vocational training.
  
• Certification in Pipe Fitting or related trade is preferred.
  
• Valid trade test certificate is an advantage.
  

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in oil & gas, water treatment, or industrial projects.
  
• Ability to read and understand piping drawings and layouts.
  
• Proficient in the use of pipe fitting tools and equipment.
  
• Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and installation techniques.
  
• Familiarity with workplace safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
  
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site environments.
  
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
