Resident manager

We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the hotel's daily operations, coordinate multiple departments, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, operational management, and the competitive hospitality market in Lagos.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating most operational departments of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, brand standard compliance, and fully aware of the competitive nature of the hospitality industry in Lagos Island
  
• Working directly and collaboratively with the operations manager and executive director
  
• Ensures day-to-day seamless coordination between the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance Department, Security, and Guest Services.
  
• Ensures all operational activities align with brand standards, SOPs, and luxury service expectations.
  
• Ensures the hotel walkways, rooms, and guest arrival lounge is spotless Clean for guest services by closely directing the HOD of the Housekeeping Department
  
• Monitors daily occupancy, VIP arrivals, group movements, and special events.
  
• Monitors Guest Experience & Service excellence across all service departments
  
• Monitoring the taste, quality and speed of food services
  
• Ensures staff productivity and measures Standard Operating Procedures & KPI's for each department
  
• Controls operational costs and ensures adequate facilities maintenance for guest services
  
• Maintains health and safety guidelines and ensures vendor & supplier compliance
  
• Ensure that every guest receives professional, timely, and memorable service.
  
• Welcome VIPs and important guests when appropriate.
  
• Handle guest complaints and service recovery.
  
• Monitor guest feedback, reviews, and satisfaction levels.
  
• Ensure that service standards meet the hotel's brand expectations.
  
• Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable hospitality regulations.
  
• Monitor maintenance, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
  
• Ensure the hotel meets its operational and quality standards.
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a 4-or 5-star hotel with Strictly Lagos or Abuja brand locations
  
• BSc/HND in a related field.
  
• Strong understanding of daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and Guest Services.

Salary: 500,000 net plus Service Charge
