Senior Data Integration & SQL Specialist

As a Senior Data Integration & SQL Specialist, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data integration solutions within complex banking environments.
  
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance-tuned database objects.
  
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and integration.
  
• Integrate data across banking systems including Core Banking, Lending, Credit, Payments, Treasury, CRM, and Digital Channels.
  
• Support both batch and real-time data integration requirements.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and lineage across enterprise systems.
  
• Support data transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives.
  
• Work with business stakeholders to understand financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
  
• Develop and maintain financial data models supporting CIF, Lending, Credit, Portfolios, Mortgage, Consumer Finance, Payments, Transactions, Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, General Ledger, and Finance.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 10+ years of overall professional experience in data integration, SQL development, or related data engineering roles.
  
• 8+ years of hands-on SQL development experience.
  
• 8+ years of experience in Data Integration and ETL/ELT.
  
• 5+ years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
  
• 5+ years of experience in Data Modelling.
  
• Expert-level SQL development skills.
  
• Strong experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, or equivalent.
  
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT development, data migration, reconciliation, and data warehousing.
  
• Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, database design, and normalization.
  
• Strong understanding of data quality and data governance frameworks.
  
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms and complex financial datasets.
  

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Analyse complex banking and financial data requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
  
• Develop highly optimized SQL and database solutions for enterprise environments.
  
• Identify and resolve data quality, reconciliation, integration, and performance issues.
  
• Work effectively with business and technical stakeholders across global, cross-functional teams.
  
• Drive discussions around data integration, modelling, reporting, and technical solutions.
  
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and maintain strong technical documentation.
  
• Support data transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives in large-scale environments.
  
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to business-critical data challenges.
