We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Cork.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care
  

• Manage, supervise, support, train and lead the care team
  

• Plan and allocate nursing staff based on clinical needs, skill mix and experience
  

• Lead by example and promote a positive, motivated team environment
  

• Manage medications in line with An Bord Altranais regulations, nursing home regulations and HIQA standards
  

• Monitor and manage KPIs within the assigned department
  

• Provide high-quality palliative care to residents
  

• Encourage, train and guide team members while maintaining a positive environment
  

• Provide guidance and support to junior nursing and care staff
  

• Promote continuity, quality and safety of resident care
  
  

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in General Nursing
  

• Current registration with NMBI
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in care planning and delivery within an elderly care setting
  

• Commitment to continuous professional development
  

• Proven experience in team management and performance management
  

• Strong initiative with a positive can-do attitude
  

• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and care quality
