Compensation: $50 - $55 per hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent opportunity in Sacramento, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve independence with daily activities, functional mobility, safety, upper-extremity function, and overall quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs, functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and quality of life.
• Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensures scope.
• Recommend or implement adaptive strategies and therapeutic activities as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety.
• Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program, as applicable.
• Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing, as applicable.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.
