About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join the Johor audit team. You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise junior team members, and work closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Job Description

Assist in client acceptance procedures, including risk assessments and preliminary analytical reviews
Lead audit fieldwork in accordance with approved audit plans and established methodologies
Perform and review audit procedures such as sampling, testing, and preparation of Audit Working Papers (AWPs)
Identify audit issues, conduct research, and communicate findings with clients and engagement team members
Monitor engagement progress, ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, and follow up on review notes
Highlight potential risks, control weaknesses, or inefficiencies during audit engagements
Maintain complete and accurate audit documentation in compliance with applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements
Supervise, guide, and mentor junior associates during audit engagements
Support the audit team in delivering high-quality services within agreed timelines
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Audit Manager or Partner

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, recognised by MIA)
Minimum 2–3 years of audit experience with team leadership exposure
Strong understanding of MFRS and audit methodologies
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with ability to lead and review team's work
Ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor junior staff
Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required to handle Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts
