SAP ABAP Developer

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP professional to join our IT Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust custom solutions. This position demands a deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, particularly within the S/4HANA environment, and requires an individual capable of driving technical excellence while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will leverage over a decade of specialized experience to optimize business processes, ensure seamless system integration, and deliver high-quality code that aligns with our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex ABAP applications, enhancements, and interfaces specifically tailored for S/4HANA environments.
  
• Collaborate on the integration of SAP Production Planning (PP) modules with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to ensure smooth data flow.
  
• Utilize Eclipse IDE and ADLC tools to manage code development, version control, and deployment lifecycles efficiently.
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring solutions meet performance and scalability standards.
  
• Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve critical system issues and maintain high availability.
  
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  
• Ensure all deliverables meet the stringent communication and documentation standards required for the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
  
• Demonstrate strong expertise in S/4HANA ABAP programming, including modern coding standards and optimization techniques.
  
• Have prior experience working with the SAP PP module and managing interfaces with MES systems.
  
• Show proficiency with Eclipse and ADLC tools for development and lifecycle management.
  
• Exhibit exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
  
• Background or experience within the Pharma or Life Sciences industry is highly advantageous.
