Management Accountant

One of our UK based clients is currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their team
.
We’re seeking a qualified or nearly qualified CIMA/ACCA professional (or equivalent) with strong analytical skills and excellent command of Microsoft Excel. Experience in the retail sector will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accruals and prepayments
• Perform ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare management reports using Excel
• Analyse management information and financial data
• Investigate variances/issues and report findings
• Support the Management Accounts team with monthly management account packs
• Assist with annual audit file preparation
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively under pressure

Requirements:

• Qualified/nearly qualified CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Flexible and open to taking on additional responsibilities as required
• Retail sector experience is an advantage
