Project Management Associate

Gulf Associates is recruiting a Project Management Associate to support our internal operations and client-facing research. This is a permanent, full-time position that is fully remote. You will be helping our team coordinate the delivery of commercial advice for complex partnership decisions. Currently, a significant part of our work involves supporting a major Dutch logistics firm as they look to expand their presence in the market. We do not provide generic strategy reports: we provide the commercial judgment necessary to handle high-stakes negotiations and regulatory environments where state capital often sits alongside private deals.

What you will do

• Maintain project timelines and track progress for client engagements to ensure all internal milestones are met.
• Research counterparties and competitors to provide partners with evidence-based updates for client meetings.
• Draft internal memos and client-facing status reports that summarize complex commercial situations clearly.
• Support the coordination of logistics and scheduling for virtual negotiations involving sovereign entities and family groups.
• Organize and manage digital project archives, ensuring all research data is accessible and accurately categorized.
• Monitor regulatory developments in the territory that could affect our clients' investment decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of scenario workbooks used to model potential outcomes for joint venture discussions.

What you bring

• A university degree or equivalent education in business, economics, law, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills with an ability to present facts concisely without using unnecessary jargon.
• A disciplined approach to research and the ability to verify information through multiple sources.
• Basic familiarity with project management software and a structured way of organizing work.
• Commercial curiosity regarding how state capital and private deals interact in specific markets.
• An ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining regular contact with the team.
• High attention to detail, especially when reviewing commercial documents or scheduling complex calls.
