The bit about us
We’re Hyve, a global events company that does things differently.
Our events deliver game-changing impact for people, businesses and beyond. That might mean winning a major contract, securing transformational investment, getting on the shelves of a giant retailer or hearing from thought leaders who are changing the future. The purpose of every one of our events is to bring the people who power major industries together – and open a world of potential.
At the same time, we’re using our events as platforms for progress, to drive the conversation across the world’s biggest industries on crucial topics like sustainability, diversity and ethical business.
These moments can change lives. And making those connections motivates us every single day.
But creating those human connections doesn’t just happen at our events. It’s part of everyday life when you work at Hyve. There are all sorts of socials, inclusion workshops and professional development opportunities to get your teeth into. And then there are the benefits. From gym memberships to private medical care, season ticket loans to healthy pensions, we’ve got you covered in all kinds of ways. (We’ll even give you an extra day off on your birthday!)
The bit about you
First of all, whatever your background and whatever your beliefs, there’s a culture of belonging here at Hyve and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you are from – it’s where you want to go.
We’re a positive bunch and if you’re a “glass half full” kind of person you’ll fit right in. Our values are brilliant work, fresh thinking, rich connections, and collective buzz. And just to be clear, these aren’t just words we put on the walls and forget about. They pull everyone together and help us all produce work that we’re proud to put our names to. If that resonates with you, great: we’re on the same page.
The bit about the division
Global Ventures is Hyve’s dedicated accelerator unit which launches new events and supercharges new ventures. This is where event launches are born and new products are accelerated, powered by obsessive customer focus, rapid experimentation, simple decision-making and entrepreneurial energy.
The bit about the event
Machina is Europe’s flagship event for the AI and robotics community, bringing together the builders, buyers and investors shaping how intelligent machines move from the lab into real-world industry. It’s growing into the place where deals get done and partnerships form, giving exhibitors direct access to decisionmakers and giving attendees a clear view of what’s commercially ready rather than just what’s possible. What sets it apart is its focus on practical deployment over hype, and it’s a great place to work because you’re building a young brand at the centre of one of the fastest-moving sectors, with real ownership and the backing of an events platform that can scale it.
The bit about the role
As Senior Manager for Audience Development, you will be responsible for building, nurturing and securing a network of attendees for Machina.
In this role, you will contribute to the strategy and execution of audience development (“buyers”) and acquisition and retention at both an individual and organisation level, securing qualified senior leaders across the physical AI and humanoid ecosystem to participate in our events and curated meeting experiences.
This is a hands-on, target-driven role focused on delivering both the volume and quality of audience while nurturing long term relationships that strengthen the Machina community year-round and onsite.
You will serve as a strategic relationship builder and brand ambassador, identifying, engaging, and securing senior-level buyers through multiple outreach channels including phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person meetings, industry events, and leverage existing partnerships. You will confidently communicate the value of Machina’s portfolio and programs, aligning buyer priorities with sponsor and partner objectives to drive meaningful connections and measurable outcomes.
With a strong sales-oriented mindset, you will manage your own recruitment targets across multiple event portfolios simultaneously, consistently meeting and/or exceeding KPIs. You will own pipeline management and reporting, maintaining accurate CRM records to track outreach, conversions, registrations, buyer quality metrics, and overall program performance.
