Garment Quality Control (QC) Inspector checks clothing and textile items during production to make sure they match buyer rules and factory standards.Job OverviewRole: Monitor and inspect apparel from raw materials to final packing.Goal: Stop defects early, reduce re-work, and ensure products match buyer tech packs.Reports to: Quality Control Manager or Quality In-Charge.Key ResponsibilitiesFabric and Trim Check: Inspect incoming raw materials, buttons, zippers, and labels for correct color, shade, and quality.In-Line Inspection: Check stitching quality, SPI (stitches per inch), and assembly on the sewing floor.Measurement Verification: Measure sample garments against size specification sheets and tech packs.Defect Tracking: Identify flaws, mark rejected pieces, and report daily defect rates (DHU - Defects per Hundred Units).Final Audit: Perform final checks on packed items for proper folding, labeling, and carton marks before shipment.Requirements and SkillsExperience: 1 to 3 years in a garment manufacturing unit.Knowledge: Understanding of stitching methods, fabrics, and basic measurement tools.Skills: Good eye for detail, basic math for measurements, and clear communication.If you want, tell me:What specific level are you hiring or applying for (Junior QC, In-Charge, or Manager)?
