Baggins TV Product Manager - Ghana

BagginsHQ is looking for a Baggins TV Product Manager to take ownership of growing Baggins TV's paying subscriber base within their assigned country.

Baggins TV is a subscription-based streaming platform with a strong focus on sports viewers. This is an independent, hands-on role with no team to manage. Your primary responsibility is simple: acquire, grow and retain active paying Baggins TV subscribers within your assigned market.

You will independently develop and execute strategies to reach sports viewers and other relevant audiences through social media, WhatsApp, communities, referrals, partnerships and other appropriate local acquisition channels.

Performance is measured primarily by the number of active verified paying subscribers within your assigned country.

Baggins TV Subscription Plans:
Monthly: USD 9.99
Annual: USD 99.99

Shortlisted candidates who successfully complete the initial video interview will proceed to a practical final assessment requiring them to onboard 5 genuine verified paying Baggins TV subscribers from their country.

Completing the assessment qualifies the candidate for final appointment consideration. Selected candidates will be appointed on a permanent basis without an additional probationary period.

Requirements

Based in the country for which the position is advertised, with a strong understanding of the local market.
Good understanding of sports audiences and consumer behaviour.
Confident in customer acquisition and converting interest into paid subscriptions.
Able to develop independently and execute subscriber-growth strategies.
Comfortable using social media, WhatsApp, communities, referrals, partnerships and other acquisition channels.
Commercially driven, proactive and accountable for measurable results.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Reliable computer/laptop and high-speed internet connection.
Experience in sales, streaming, sports marketing, digital marketing, entertainment or subscription businesses is advantageous.
Willing to complete the 5-subscriber practical assessment as part of the final selection process.

Subscriber-based monthly compensation:

• 5–49 active subscribers: USD 50
  
• 50–99: USD 100
  
• 100–249: USD 200
  
• 250–499: USD 400
  
• 500–999: USD 700
  
• 1,000–2,499: USD 1,200
  
• 2,500+: USD 2,000
  

USD 40 monthly facilitation upon reaching and maintaining at least 50 active verified paying subscribers.
Compensation progresses to higher tiers as the verified active subscriber base grows.
Paid leave and applicable holidays in accordance with Company policy and applicable employment requirements.
Fully remote position.
Direct ownership of Baggins TV's growth within the assigned country.
