Job Title: Forward Deployed Product Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA, in office 4x/week
Compensation: $150,000 – $24,000 base,  + equity

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Product Manager (5+ years of experience) to own the end-to-end customer lifecycle for our enterprise conversational AI platform—from initial deployment to account expansion. This is a customer-facing role, where you serve as the strategic link between high-value enterprise clients and our core engineering/product teams. 

You will translate client requirements into high-performing AI deployment workflows, prove measurable business impact, and establish the operational playbook for this function as our organization scales.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and scale a portfolio of enterprise accounts; lead scoping, implementation, agent customization, and ongoing performance optimization to drive retention and expansion.

• Lead strategic discussions with customers—presenting value propositions, analyzing key metrics, and proving ROI with data-driven insights.

• Conduct hands-on analysis and troubleshooting of automated conversation flows, optimize system behavior, and align deployments with industry compliance standards.

• Collaborate closely with core Product and Engineering teams to convert client feedback and emerging requirements into scalable platform features.

• Define standards, best practices, and repeatable operational frameworks for the Forward Deployed PM organization as the team expands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in product management, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account leadership, with a strong background in high-growth, venture-backed tech startups, or top consultancies

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex product behavior, bridge high-level strategy with technical execution, and comfortably navigate data/analytics pipelines (e.g., SQL).

• Excellent analytical capabilities with a track record of evaluating datasets, extracting actionable insights, and articulating business ROI to external stakeholders.

• Comfort navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments where processes are continuously built and refined.
