Supply Chain Transformation Director

We are conducting a confidential search for a Supply Chain Transformation Director to lead an end-to-end supply chain modernization program for an established organization based in Chicago, working hybrid. This is a director-level opportunity for an operations leader who can redesign network strategy, digitize planning processes, and drive measurable cost and service improvements.

In this role, you will lead the transformation roadmap across S&OP, demand planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics, and oversee the selection and rollout of modern planning and visibility platforms. You will redesign the distribution network for cost-to-serve and resilience, lead supplier segmentation and risk mitigation strategies, and build KPI frameworks that connect supply chain performance to financial outcomes.

You will partner with finance, sales, and manufacturing leadership to align inventory strategy with demand signals, lead change management across a multi-site operations organization, and manage a team of supply chain managers and analysts. You will also lead vendor selection for ERP/SCM systems and oversee the business case and ROI tracking for transformation initiatives.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ERP/SCM implementations (SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9)
• Background in network design and cost-to-serve modeling
• Six Sigma / Lean certification
• Experience leading transformation in a multi-site manufacturing or distribution environment
• Track record of quantified working-capital or service-level improvement
