Restaurant Supervisor

The roleWe are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to run the floor day to day across our bar, restaurant and function service. You will be the person guests and staff look to during service: setting the pace, keeping standards up, and making sure the room runs smoothly from first booking to last table.What you will be doingLeading the floor team during service, including servers and table support staffManaging the reservations diary, table plans and covers flowBriefing the team before service and keeping communication tight between floor and kitchenHandling guest queries, special requests and complaints in the momentOverseeing set up and service for weddings, functions and private eventsCash handling, end of shift reconciliation and till reportsOrdering and stock control for bar and floor itemsTraining and inducting new floor staff, and supporting them to developUpholding hygiene, licensing and health and safety standardsWhat we are looking forAt least two years in a supervisory or senior floor role in a busy restaurant, bar or hotelConfident leading a team during a full serviceCalm under pressure and able to make quick decisions on the floorStrong guest focus and a genuine interest in hospitalityComfortable with EPOS and reservation systems, or quick to pick them upFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidaysFluent English and eligibility to work in IrelandNice to haveExperience with weddings and large functionsWine, cocktail or barista knowledgeManual Handling or HACCP trainingWhat we offerCompetitive salary, based on experienceTips shared across the teamMeals on dutyReal scope to grow with a family business that is investing in the propertyA supportive, close-knit team in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland
