Data Architect - Integration

The client is seeking an integrator-level data architect who ensures the consistency of the architecture across multiple delivery teams working in parallel on cross-functional data projects. The recurring terms (integrator, cross-functional, interdependencies, architectural vision, communication, simplification, business and IT challenges) indicate that the expected value lies not in technical output, but in the ability to align, mediate, and bring teams together around a shared vision.
The role requires a senior technical leadership position: the candidate will mentor other architects and act as a reference for the data integration strategy and roadmap. The key unspoken requirement is the scaled Agile context, as train reporting follows a SAFe-type approach, combined with the absence of a named technology stack, which leaves technology sourcing open.
The desired combination, 10 years in data architecture with 3 years of mentoring architects in an integration role, within a Quebec City/Montreal area, targets a limited pool.
